Can I have a pet?

Harbourside Apartments are pet tolerant in most circumstances, but you need the prior written consent of the Body Corporate to bring or keep any animal or pet in a unit or on the common property. The exceptions are fish, which must be kept within your unit, and guide, hearing or assistance dogs (see "Do I need consent for a guide, hearing or assistance dog?").

Apply to the Body Corporate Manager at YPM. Your application will be considered by the Chairperson and Committee.

Consent will not be unreasonably or arbitrarily withheld, but may be revoked on written notice if the rights or interests of another owner are adversely affected by the animal. Any part of a unit or common property soiled or damaged by a pet must be promptly cleaned or repaired at the owner's cost.
